Secret sonics at a glance
Secret Sonics is a growing podcast for audio engineers and music producers at any level. From the very technical to the philosophical, the show explores the creative process of the modern production professional as well as the mindset that enables them to succeed in business, living a creative life, work-life balance, networking and so much more. As each guest shares anecdotes and insights into how they manage to navigate the industry, the listener comes away inspired and informed; better prepared to tackle their dreams head on. The show’s guests have ranged from multiple Grammy-winners to up-and-comers working in the trenches.
Secret Sonics has a passionate listener base of professional and amateur studio people, who consistently engage with the content and are always striving to improve at their craft and in their careers.
On a personal level, this show has created a network of friends and colleagues that I am consistently in touch with. It has been the project that has kept me sane throughout the pandemic. It has also enabled me to become a node in this industry that I care so much about.
Looking ahead, we hope to continue growing an audience, getting killer guests, and making an excellent podcast that makes a big impact on the audio community. It's important to us to feature female music producers since we believe that their voices need to be heard and that an increase of visibility will help foster a growing population of female audio professionals. This is something that we know there’s a hunger for, as our ads featuring female producers have resulted in more clickthroughs than their male peers. Finally, we believe that our audience is only beginning to form and that by partnering with a few select companies, we can help increase the credibility of the show and hopefully reach even more listeners.
